Major League Baseball Player. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, he was a left handed pitcher making his debut for the Cleveland Infants on May 8, 1890. For seven seasons, he played with the Cleveland Infants (1890), St. Louis Browns (1891), Cincinnati Reds (1892), Chicago Colts (1893-94) and Philadelphia Phillies (1895-96). He concluded his career with a record of 72 wins, 74 loss, 114 complete games, 2 shutouts, 1 save, 512 strikeouts and a 4.59 earned run average. He died at age 70 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
