Mrs. John H Allen, a former resident of Princeton, died on Monday, May 13, at Los Angeles, aged 73 years. The remains were cremated, and the ashes will probably be brought to this village in the near future and interred at Oak Knoll cemetery beside those of her husband, who died about two years ago
Mrs Allen was a sister of John and Mrs. Robert Neely of Princeton and of Mrs. N. E. Jesmer of Seattle.
She was born in Pomeroy, Ohio, in 1839 and came to Minnesota in 1856 With her husband, she moved to Los Angeles about 10 years ago.

She is survived by a son and two daughters. Mrs. Allen will be well remembered by many Princeton people. She was respected by every one during her residence here.
