Edwin J. Nickels, 68, of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, died Friday at his home following a heart attack.
Private funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc, with the Rev. Paul H. Blaufuss officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 11, 1893, in the Town of Two Rivers and attended the Crystal Springs School. He farmed in that area, taking over operation of the home farm when his father died in 1930. He never married.
Among the survivors are one brother, Charles of Manitowoc; four sisters, Mrs. Arthur Albrecht, Martha and Emma of Rt. 1, Two Rivers, and Erna of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, and 22 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Friends may call between 2 and 10 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
