Mrs. Lars Nelson, an old lady who lived in the town of Manitowoc near the toll gate, committed suicide last night by hanging herself to an apple tree, using strips made out of a sheet for the purpose. She has been of unsound mind for some years and made an attempt to take her own life before.
Last night her husband and Ole Benson were sitting on the porch and discovered she had left the house. They made search at once and found her suspended from a tree, dead.
