Bessie M. Bessonette, 86, a retired saleswoman, died Tuesday of heart failure at Hardy Wilson Hospital in Hazlehurst. Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Stringer Funeral Home with burial at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery. Visitation is 5:30-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bessonette was a Simpson County native and a 40-year Crystal Springs resident. She was a member of Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church and Crystal Springs Chapter No. 9 Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include: son, Paul McNeece of Jackson; daughter, Bobbye Webb of Crystal Springs; stepdaughter, Elouise Nations of Brookhaven; sisters, Louise Price of Choctaw, Okla., and Myrtis Saxton of Alamagordo,N.M.;and 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
