Victor B. Pokorsky, 56, of 2401-12th St., Two Rivers, an Air Force veteran
of World War II, died unexpectedly of a heart attack en route to Two Rivers
Municipal Hospital late Monday afternoon.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral
Home, Two Rivers, the Rev. R. Thomas Peeters officiating. Burial will be in
Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mr. Pokorsky was born July 29, 1911, at Manitowoc, a son of the late Stanley
and Agnes Weier Pokorsky. When he was 11, his family brought him to Two Rivers.
A construction worker, he was employed for a number of years by Gray-Robinson
Construction Co. of Manitowoc and most recently for the Bechtel Corp. in the
construction of Point Beach Nuclear Power Plant, Town of Two Creeks.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Edwin (Cele) Knope and Mrs. Dorothy De Lorme,
both of Two Rivers, and two brothers, Florian, of Two Rivers, and Harold, of
Texas.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday where memorial
services will be at 8 p.m.
