Funeral services for James "Jamie" Ray Adams will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 8, 2006 in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Tony Robinson officiating.

Committal services will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of White Oaks, Oakdale.

James Ray Adams, 46, of Marksville entered eternal rest Friday, March 03, 2006, in his residence. He was born on September 16, 1959 to the union of Chris A. Adams, Sr. and Jeanette (Strother) Adams in Oakdale, Louisiana.
He was a Baptist by faith and employed with the Dubroc's Furniture Company in Marksville. He was a devoted loving husband, father, son, brother, nephew and friend.
Preceding him in death were his father,Chris A Adams Sr.; maternal grandparents,TJ Strother
and Beatrice (Cudd) Strother; Paternal grandparents, Jimmy Adams and Mary (Maida) Adamsand one half-sister Brandy Adams.
He leaves behind his loving family to cherish his memories, his wife, Ramona "Christy" Smith of Marksville; one daughter, Sara Elizabeth Adams and one step-daughter, Erin Michelle Smith of Marksville, one son, Dustin Walker of Alexandria; Mother, Jeanette (Strother) Adams of Ball; one brother, Chris A. Adams, Jr. and wife Monica of Alexandria; one half-brother Bronc Adams of Oakdale; one sister, Pamela Adams Vidrine of Alexandria and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be T.J. Adams, Nickie Adams, Matthew Smith, Gene Paul, David Sanderson and Bubba Welch. Honorary Pallbearer honored to serve will be Timothy Vincent.
