William J. Klein, age 76, of 2307 Clark St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday,
August 1, 1995, at his residence.
Memorial Services will be held Thursday, August 3, 1995, at 5:30 p.m.
at Faith Evangelical Free Church, Manitowoc. Officiating will be Pastor
Michael Dodds, with private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
He was born April 24, 1919, in Clarks Mills, son of the late Mark and
Rose Pregnietz Klein. He was a veteran of World War II. He married
Jeanette Schimmel on July 8, 1939, in Two Rivers.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette, Manitowoc; three daughters and
two sons-in-law, Sharon and Leroy Swetlik, Manitowoc, Cheryl Klein
Swetlik, Green Bay, Renee and Mark Umnus, DePere; one brother and
sister-in-law, Herbert and Eleanore Klein, New Orleans, La.; three
brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law, Raymond Schimmel, Two Rivers,
Robert and Millie Schimmel, Francis Creek, John and Janice Schimmel,
Malvern, Pa., Edith Becker, Two Rivers; eight grandchildren; six great-
grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his name.
Jens Funeral Home and Crematory, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with
the funeral arrangements.
