Betty M. Hartsaw, 68, of Greencastle, died Sunday, June 10, 2001, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born June 26, 1932, in Putnam County, the daughter of G. Oscar and Marie Martin Bosswell. She was employed in management for P.R. Mallory Co. in Greencastle for 20 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Washburn Chapter, in Greencastle; the Daughters of 1812; was past president of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 1550, Ladies Auxiliary; a member of the American Legion Post 58 Ladies Auxiliary, the Eagles Lodge Ladies Auxiliary and the Women of the Moose, all in Greencastle.

The only local survivor is a son, Robert Timothy Hartsaw of Madison.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home in Greencastle, with cremation to follow.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
