Milas Fink was the youngest child of Martin and Martha Tolbert/Talbert Fink. He was born in Stanly County and grew up in Cabarrus County, near Harrisburg. He was a farmer there. He married Susan "Susie" Key and four children were born to them. The children are Lonie Edna, Etta Mae, Martin James and Ernest Hubert. Susan passed about three weeks after Ernest was born, in 1911.
Milas later married Alcy "Elsie" Margaret Polk Thompson.
He is buried at Wilson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
