DIES AFTER A LONG ILLNESS

Mrs. Joseph Novak To Be Laid To Rest On Friday


Mrs. Joseph Novak, 34, died at her home, 1318 South 10th street, yesterday afternoon following a lingering illness.


funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 from the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home and at 2 o'clock from the Evangelical Lutheran church, the Rev. L.H. Koeninger officiating. Burial will be made in the Evergreen cemetery.


Mrs. Novak, nee Rosetta Fischer, was born April 7, 1901 in the town of Rockland. She was married to Joseph Novak in 1919. The couple have made their home here since their marriage.


Survivors, besides her widower, include three daughters, Edith, 16, Elaine, 8, and Delphane, 5; her mother, Mrs. Otto Kollath; a brother, Adolph Fischer of Manitowoc; and a sister, Mrs. Edward Karmen, Manitowoc.


The body may be viewed at the funeral home tonight and until the time of the services Friday.
