Mrs. Alice "Irish" Oberbillig Jung, age 81, of Ocala, Florida, formerly of Manitowoc and later West Bend, Wis., died Sunday, January 23, 2000, in Ocala Florida Medical Center.


Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2000, at Holy Innocents, Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Gerald Foley. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.


She was born December 1, 1918, in Chilton, Wis., daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Cain Minahan. She was a graduate of Chilton High School. On October 18, 1939, she married James J. Oberbillig in Chilton, Wis. He preceded her in death September 7, 1988. She later married Ray Jung on October 9, 1993. She was a member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church.


Survivors include her husband, Ray; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Patrick J. Oberbillig, Calif., Jack and Marianne Oberbillig, Lake Mills, Wis., Michael and Michelle Oberbillig, Calif.; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Mary Luther, Manitowoc, Cheryl and Jim Thompson, Iowa, Kathy and Bruce Fleischmann, Manitowoc, Jean and Anthony Mazzoleni, Minnesota; seven grandchildren, Steve, Dean and Andrew Thompson, Matthew and Jessica Fleischmann, Catherine and John Mazzoleni; one niece, Betty Ann Black; one nephew, Eddie Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband, James in 1988; a son, Stephen in 1941, and one brother, Jerry Minahan.


Friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Friday with a prayer service to be held at 7 p.m. Visitation will also be held at Holy Innocents on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of mass at 10 a.m.


In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the local hospice program or American Cancer Society in your community.


The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
