Dorothy M. Oberholzer, 73, of 112 Jessie St., Two Rivers, died Sunday afternoon, March 26, 1989 at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc. Private family committal services will be 2 pm Tuesday, March 28. Rev. Bruce Huffer will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. A family gathering will be held in Summer to celebrate her life.
Mrs. Oberholzer was born December 20, 1915 at Berreman Township in Joe Davies County, Illinois, daughter of the late Roscoe L. and Dove Aurand Hardacre. She married Joseph on December 20, 1934 in Stockton, Illinois.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph, a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph H. and Jean Oberholzer of Alabama; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and John Kunish of Lake Mills, Wisconsin; two sisters, Daisie Wright of Stockton, Illinois and Marian Ibler of Freeport, Illinois; a sister-in-law, Mae Hardacre of Freeport, Illinois, grandchildren, Tina and Lt. Gene Giambelluca, Tracy and Laura Oberholzer, Ann Kunish and David Kunish; great grandchildren, Amie, Joshua, Dominic and Antony Giambelluca, Kristen and T.J. Oberholzer; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Virgil.
Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
Memorials to Intensive Care Unit at Memorial hospital, Manitowoc, would be appreciated by the families.
