Death yesterday morning of almost 46 yr. old Alois Oberland, a well-known citizen of this city.
The deceased, who died of dropsy, was born 18 Oct. 1845.
He leaves a widow and 6 children.
The funeral will take this afternoon at 2 p.m.

Alois Oberland of this city died on Wednesday morning of this week. He has been in ill health for some time but was able to be around.
He was born at Stolmirz near Boemish Brod and came to this county 17 years ago. He engaged in the mercantile business in this city some time and ago quit it after an unsuccessful venture of two years. He then became manager of a liquor store at the south side for the Frank Sixta Co. He was 46 years old.

The undersigned desire to express their thanks to friends who attended the funeral of Alois Obrland (sic), those who contributed flowers and to the members of the A.O.U.W. and Royal Areanum who took part in the procession.
