Neil P. Oberland, age 62, of 1622 23rd St., Two Rivers, died Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, at Aurora Bay Care, Green Bay.


Neil was born June 18, 1946, in Manitowoc, son of the late Paul and Anita Pleuss Oberland. Neil was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church.


Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law: Margaret "Maggie" (Charles) Kluenker, Roseville, Calif.; three nephews and one niece: David and his wife, Erica, John and his wife, Chelsea, Jeffrey, Katherine and her husband, Luke; one great-nephew and great-niece: Jacob and Nichole; other relatives and friends also survive.


Private funeral services for close family and friends will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, at the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 S. Eighth. St., Manitowoc. The Rev. Paul N. Schossow will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the time of services.
