ELLEN C. O'DONNELL

Mrs. M.J. O'Donnell, 82, of 612 North Sixth street, died at her home early Thursday evening following an illness of the past two weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Urbanek and Schlei funeral home and at 9 o'clock at the Sacred Heart Catholic church with the Rev. L. M. Schorn officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
The former Ellen Collins, the deceased, was born in Ripon in 1866 and later moved to Antigo where she was married to Michael J. O'Donnell, then an employe of the North Western railroad there. The couple came to Manitowoc in 1905 where Mr. O'Donnell was agent at the North Western station here for a number of years before entering the insurance business in which he continued until his death in 1936.
A charter member of Sacred Heart congregation, Mrs. O'Donnell was active in the Catholic Women's club, the Catholic Order of Foresters and was also a charter member of the Sacred Heart Altar society.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. George Koebke of this city, Miss Marion, a teacher at the Atwater school in Shorewood, and Miss Florence, a teacher in the Cass street school in Milwaukee; one brother; C. C. Collins of Oshkosh; and a granddaughter, Mary Ellen Koebke. A son, Edward O'Donnell, died when 17 years of age.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from Sunday noon until the time of services Monday morning. The Sacred Heart Altar society will recite the rosary at 7:30 Sunday evening.
