William A. Oestreich, 75, of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, died Wednesday afternoon at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, where he had been a patient two months.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rockwood Lutheran Church. The Rev. Herbert Kesting will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Oestreich was born Jan. 6, 1892, at Mishicot, son of the late Henry and Helen Bruss Oestreich. Three years later the family moved to a farm near Rockwood. After the death of his father in 1936, Mr. Oestreich operated the homestead farm until 1950, working then for seven years at Mirro Aluminum Co., Manitowoc, until retiring. He never married. Mr. Oestreich was a charter member of Rockwood Lutheran Church.
He is survived by a brother, Herbert Oestreich, of Manitowoc and a sister, Mrs. Pauline Korthauer, of Shakopee, Minn.
Friends may call at Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m. Friday until 11 a.m. Saturday when the casket will be moved to the church here the body will lie in state until time of service.
