Godfrey Oestreich, 67, former county resident, died Monday at his home in Milwaukee. The body is in state at the Kaufmann funeral home in Milwaukee and will arrive in Manitowoc Wednesday.
Friends may call at the Mittnacht-Kollath funeral home from Wednesday noon until the time of services at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Theophil Uetzmann will officiate with burial in Evergreen cemetery.
He was born in Mishicot in 1882 and later lived on farms in Rockwood and Kossuth. He moved to Milwaukee 35 years ago where he engaged in business. His wife, whom he married in 1932, died in 1934. He was a member of the Moose lodge of Milwaukee.
Survivors are two brothers, Herbert of Manitowoc and William of Kossuth; sister, Mrs. Henry Korthauser of Shakopee, Minn.
