Mrs. August K. (Lily) Oestreich, 89, formerly of 1301 S. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc.


Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Norval W. Koch will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.


Mrs. Oestreich, nee Lily Ladewig, was born July 18, 1886, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Christopf and Caroline Keubke Ladewig. She was educated in First German Evangelical Lutheran School and was a lifelong member of the church. She married August K. Oestreich in 1923 at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death in 1945.


Survivors include two stepsons, Howard and Karl Oestreich; a step-daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Margaret) Gass, of Manitowoc; six grandchildren; two nephews, E. Bert Truttschel, of Manitowoc and Kenneth Ladwug, of Middleton and two nieces, Miss Esther Marquardt and Mrs. Ludmilla Voigt, of Manitowoc. A step-son Edwin Oestreich, preceded her in death.


Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday until the time of service.
