ROBERT OESTREICH

Robert E. Oestreich, age 83, formerly of 1500 N. Third St., Manitowoc, a current resident of North Ridge Medical & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002 at North ridge.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002, at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Major Paul Logan with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born June 29, 1918, in Wausau, son of the late Elmer A. and Elizabeth Feck Oestreich. Robert graduated from Wausau High School in 1936 and Milwaukee School of Engineering in 1938 with a degree in high voltage electricity transmissions. Robert was a self employed electrician working for various manufacturing companies.
Survivors include four sons and a daughter-in-law: Randy Oestreich, Richard Oestreich, Brian and Paulette Sprang, all of Manitowoc; William Oestreich, Two Rivers; a daughter: Jodi Oestreich, Manitowoc; 12 grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law: Evelyn and Ben Biese, Manitowoc; and special friends: Dale and Joanne Henry, Shawano. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of service at noon.
