Gertrude L. Oestreich, age 99, formerly of 730 S. 28th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday, April 16, 2003 at Rivers Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center following a period of declining health.
Gertrude was born June 14, 1903 in the town of Chase, Oconto County, daughter of the late William and Mary (Seeling) Krueger. She was married to Hugo Oestreich on Sept. 30, 1924 in Oconto County. Hugo preceded her in death June 27, 1962. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Hugo, she was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2003 at The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State St., Manitowoc. The Rev. Randy Richter will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call on Monday after 10 a.m. to the time of service.
The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is serving the family.
