George W. O'Hearn, age 74, a resident of St. Mary's Home, 2005 Division Street, Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning, Oct. 16, 2001 at St. Mary's Home.


Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2001 at St. Mary's Home Chapel, 205 Division Street, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Thomas Wojciechoski with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.


George was born June 9, 1927 in Manitowoc, son of the late James and Marguerite A. Buckley O'Hearn. George was employed with Mirro Aluminum for 42 years until his retirement. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.


Survivors include three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Bill Salutz, Green Bay, Lumena and E Coffin, Manitowoc, Patricia and Leonard Anderson, Green Bay; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Michael (Bud) O'Hearn, James P. O'Hearn; two sisters, Ellen Lefler and Beatrice Klein.


Friends and relatives may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Friday, Oct. 19, 2001 from 5 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 7 p.m. led by Deacon William Klein, brother-in-law, Relatives and friends may also call at St. Mary's Home Chapel Saturday, Oct. 20, 2001 from 8 am until the time of services at 9 a.m.


The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, 628 North Water Street, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
