Mrs. Donald (Christine) Ohlhues, 67, of 1014 Menasha Ave., Manitowoc, died Tuesday afternoon in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.


Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday in Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo J. Schmitt will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.


Mrs. Ohlhues, nee Christine G. Eveld, was born November 27, 1911, in Altus, Ark., daughter of the late Sylvester and Elizabeth Eveld. She was married to Donald Ohlhues Aug. 5, 1937, in Altus. She and her husband owned and operated the former Husmann Cleaning Company of Manitowoc which was affiliated with Globe Laundry Cleaners after they merged in 1961. She retired in 1972. Mrs. Ohlhues was a member of Catholic Women's Club, Christian Mother's Altar Society of Holy Innocents Church and Elks Auxiliary.


Survivors include her husband, Donald, a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Joyce Ohlhues of Green Bay; two daughters and sons-in-law, Bette and Lou Close of Wausau and Mary Ann and William Duebner of Manitowoc; a brother, Joseph Eveld of Phoenix, Ariz.; three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Heverly of Van Buren, Ark., Mrs. Merle (Anna Dot) Del Soto of Altus, Ark., and Mrs. Othelia Hilton of Clarksville, Ark., and six grandchildren.


Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, where a prayer service will be at 8 p.m. by Catholic Women's Club, Christian Mothers altar Society, relatives and friends.
