Mrs. Hugh Ohlhues, 73, of 1205 A S. 13th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday afternoon at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, following a long illness.


Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Rev. Theophil Uetzmann officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.


She was born Emma Matz in Chicago Aug. 31, 1884, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Matz. She was married to Mr. Ohlhues Dec. 2, 1905, in Chicago and the couple lived there until 1937 when they came to Manitowoc to make their home.


Surviving are the husband: a daughter, Mrs. Bernard Husmann of Rockford, Ill.; a son, Donald of Manitowoc; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.


Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 7 o'clock this Wednesday evening until 10:30 a.m. Thursday when the body will be moved to the church to lie in state until the time of service.
