Mrs. Anton Schroedl, 75, the former Hattie Eggert Olm of Manitowoc, died Thursday at Atlantic, Ia., after a brief illness.


Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Dale O. Tutje will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.


Mrs. Schroedl was born Hattie Gladys Eggert on Feb. 10, 1901, at Two Creeks, daughter of the late Gust and Flora Ihlenfeldt Eggert. She was graduated from High School at Two Rivers and attended Stevens Point Normal College. She taught school in the towns of Meeme and Two Creeks. In 1921 she was married to the late William Olm. They were the parents of two daughters, Mrs. Wilma Olm Creager of Janesville and Mrs. Murray (Flora) Burfeind of Goodhue, Minn.


In 1959, the deceased married Anton Schroedl, who preceded her in death in 1975. Mrs. Schroedl, who made her home in St. Petersburg, Fla., for the past 17 years, was an active member and an officer of the United Commercial Travelers Women's Auxiliary.


Survivors, in addition to her daughters, include a brother, Lee, of Gainesville, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Francis (Dorothy) Sciples, of San Antonio, Tex.; her step-mother, Mrs. Gust (Ruth) Eggert of Manitowoc; two step-sons, Joseph Schroedl of Appleton and Francis Schroedl of Sun Prairie; a step-daughter, Miss Lillian Schroedl, of Madison; seven grandchildren and nieces and nephews.


Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday. The casket will be moved to the church at 10:30 a.m. Monday to lie in state until the hour of services.


The family requests memorials to Holiday House.

At a pretty wedding at Grace Congregational church in the city Saturday, Miss Hattie Eggert, daughter of Register of Deeds, Gus Eggert, became the bride of William Olm of Meeme. Miss Agnes Griebe of Auburndale, a schoolmate of the bride was maid of honor and Mrs. Rene Roether was bridesmaid. Floyd Eggert, a brother of the groom, was groomsman. The wedding was attended by immediate relatives and was followed by a wedding dinner at the home of the groom's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Olmm left later in the day on an automobile trip and will later make their home at Cleveland. The bride has been one of the popular teachers of the county and Mr. Olm is employed at Kiel.
