Ross R. Olson, 37, of 3102G Peto St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening in Kenosha County as the result of a car-truck accident.


Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home and 11 a.m. in St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Philip Hoffmann will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.


Mr. Olson was born Dec. 30, 1939 in Manitowoc, son of the late Norman Olson and Ebba Byle Olson. He was reared and educated in Manitowoc and married Charlotte Bennington May 14, 1960 in St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw. Mr. Olson was a semi truck driver for Chizek Transport Co. of Newton and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.


Survivors include his wife and two daughters, Sherri and June at home; his mother, Mrs. Ebba Olson of Manitowoc; three brothers, Don of San Francisco, Calif., Jerel of Green Bay and Jan of Manitowoc; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Elsie Bennington of Whitelaw and two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Dale (Carol) Kiel of Enterprise, Ala., and Mrs. Donald (Diane) Svacina of Reedsville, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. An infant daughter, Kim Marie, his father, Norman and grandparents preceded him in death.


Friends may call in Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, where a parish prayer service will be at 8 p.m. The casket will remain closed.
