He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mazie L. Dufour, three sons, Benjamin and Raymond Dufour of Simmesport, and T.J. Dufour Jr. of Jackson, Miss.; one daughter, Mrs. Raymond Mallory of Hardin, Mo.; two brothers, Testa Dufour of New Orleans and Noland Dufour of Dupont; five sisters, Mrs. Edgar Ducote of Bunkie, Mrs. Slocum Dufour of Cottonport, Mrs. Curlie Mayeux of Plaucheville, Mrs. Arnold Rabalais of Evergreen and Mrs. Verdie Dufour of New Orleans.
Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Monday in Christ the King Catholic church in Simmesport. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home of Marksville.
Pallbearers were Ray Reech, Lacour Reech, Reginald Dufour, Billy Lemoine, Don Rhodes and James Mayeux.
