Minnie Pearl Johnson Griffin, 67, of Indianola, MS; died March 30, 1999, at South Sunflower County Hospital in Indianola, MS.
She is survived by six daughters, Willie Mae Griffin of Boyle, MS; Lisa Griffin Raymond of Atlanta, GA; Virginia Griffin, Jacqueline Griffin, Bernice E. Griffin, and Bettye Jo Griffin, all of Indianola, MS; and five sons, Roosevelt Johnson of Shaw, MS; Eugene Griffin of Taylorville, IL; Curtis Griffin, Jr., Bobby Griffin, and James Griffin, all of Indianola, MS.
Other survivors are her sisters, Bessie Lee Johnson of Cleveland, MS; Louise Johnson of Shaw, MS; and Lillie Mae Burley of Ontario, Canada; 43 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Byas Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Visitation is Friday from 2 to 6 p.m.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 3, 1999, at 2 p.m.
at Mt. Olive M. B. Church in Shaw, MS.
Rev. Frank Hall, Jr., will officiate.
Burial in Riverside Memorial Gardens.
