He was born April 29 1914 in Bountiful, UT to Willard and Leah Pratt Call. After serving an LDS mission to California, he married Catherine Elizabeth Kreft in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on December 20, 1936. He was an example of courage and devotion in caring for his wife.
Hugh enjoyed a variety of activities, especially golf and tennis. He was a past chapter president of Rotary International in Twin Falls, ID. He was an active member of the LDS Church and served in various leadership capacities including bishop, high councilor, and temple worker.
Hugh is survived by his wife of 62 years, Catherine; four children: Merlin (Ruby), Kris (Jim) Sarkady, Kevin (Marv), and Brooke (Jan); 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchil-dren; a brother, Helaman P.; sisters, Beth Dixon and Leah (Al) Chamberlain; and an uncle, Emerson Pratt.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 29, 2001 at 2 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Lawn Chapel, 2350 East 1300 South. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and Monday, one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
