DARLINGTON - Mrs. Nancy H. Barefoot, 80, died Saturday in a local hospital after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be today at 4 p.m. in Darlington Church of God of Prophecy with burial in New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
She was born in Darlington County, daughter of the late Joe and Addie Edwards Howle. She was the widow of Charlie C. Barefoot and was formerly employed by the Darlington Manufacturing Co.
Surviving are a son, C. Hugh Barefoot of Florence; a daughter, Mrs. Norman M. Thomas of Darlington; two brothers, Bartow and Theron Howle of Hartsville; a stepbrother, Ike Winburn of Hartsville; and five sisters, Mrs. Mary Warr, Mrs. Matt Hoffman, Mrs. Cora McLeod, Mrs. Josephine Kelly and Mrs. Alberta Smith of Hartsville.
