Josephine C. O'Malley, age 73, of 3313 Meadow Lane, Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening, November 16, 1994, at her residence.


Funeral Services will be 9 a.m. Friday, November 18, 1994, at St. Mary's Nursing Home Chapel. Officiating will be Father Tom Wojciechowski, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.


She was born December 3, 1920, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Andrew and Agnes Norkowski Wergin. She married Thomas J. O'Malley on October 24, 1941, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and the Manitowoc Senior Center.


Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Nancy O'Malley, Omaha, Neb.; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Josephine Alcorta, Manitowoc, Patricia and Ernie Volkman, Antigo, Jean and Leroy Kopecky, West Bend, Noreen M. Lutze, Green Bay, Jerry Lutze, Manitowoc; one brother and two sisters-in-law, Leo and Alice Wergin, Stevens Point, Agnes LesMonde, Manitowoc; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Emily Gardner, California, Peter and Dorothy Roovers, Kimberly, Wis., Agnes Barbier, Wausau, Marie Pleuss, Florida, Donald P. O'Malley, Madrid, Spain; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild, nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas J. O'Malley in 1993; one brother, Daniel Wergin; one sister, Cecelia Sneberk, one grandchild, Lyndsey Kopecky.


Friends may call at the St. Mary's Nursing Home Chapel from 8 a.m. on Friday until the time of services.


Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the donor's choice.
