O'MALLEY GIRL SUCCUMBS AT 23

Former Local Resident Dies at Chippewa Falls


Kathryn Jane O'Malley, 23, daughter of Mrs. Ann O'Malley, 12th Street, west, died Tuesday afternoon at Chippewa Falls after a long illness.


Funeral services will be held at the Jansky funeral home here at 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. F.E. Schlueter of Emanuel Evangelical church officiating. Interment will be made in Evergreen cemetery, Manitowoc.


Miss O'Malley was born in Hill City, Minn., Nov. 27, 1917 and came to this city with her parents 16 years ago. She had been at Chippewa Falls for the past 10 years.


Survivors are her mother; three brothers, Willard and Russell of this city and Lloyd, private first class at Fort Sheridan; three sisters, Mrs. Garfield De Grand and Mrs. Edward Jirikowic, Manitowoc and Mrs. Raymond Bertler, route 1.


The body is expected to arrive here late tonight and may be viewed at the Jansky funeral home from tomorrow until the time of the funeral.
