MAYME OPICHKA

Mayme Opichka, loving mother of Violet Ehlinger and proud grandmother of Douglas, Dan and his wife, Nancy and a grandson, Dennis, who died in Vietnam, July 19, 1969, died Wednesday morning, February 10, 1988 at Oaklawn Convalescence Home, Oaklawn, Illinois.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral home and 11 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Ronald Reimer will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Opichka was born in Kewaunee County, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Jacob and Barbara Wondrash Velicer. She was married to Adolph Opichka, October 14, 1919 at Kewaunee. He preceded her in death January 8, 1967. Mrs. Ophicka was a member of Germania Society of Manitowoc and V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 659.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Violet Ehlinger of Crestwood, Illinois; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, a sister and a grandson.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 9:30 am Saturday until the time of services.
