Mrs. Theodore Oppen, 81, nee Christina Oberg, of 418 North 10th street, died yesterday afternoon at her home following a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Urbanek and Schlei funeral home, the Rev. R. B. Walden officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. The body may be viewed at the funeral home.
Mrs. Oppen was born in 1867 in Manitowoc and was married in 1890. The couple lived in Chicago for a short time and then returned to Manitowoc. Mr. Oppen died 1901.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. George Thomas of Manitowoc; a brother, George Oberg of Manitowoc; one granddaughter and two great-grandsons.
