Mrs. Alvin (Anna) Ording, 64, of 950 MacArthur Dr., Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning in Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Larry Ellenberger will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Ording, nee Anna Petterson, was born Nov. 7, 1914, in Halma, Minn., daughter of the late Ole and Olga Erickson Petterson. She was educated in Halma area schools and moved to Manitowoc in 1939, where she was married to Alvin W. Ording Oct. 19, 1940, in First German Evangelical Lutheran Church. Mrs. Ording was a member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid Society of the church.
Survivors include her husband, Alvin, a brother, Eugene of Warrensburg, Ill., three brothers, Ivar Petterson of Lake Bronson, Minn., and Walter and Otto Petterson of Miles City, Mont.; five sisters, Mrs. Carl (Agnes) Lander of Hamilton, Mont., Mrs. Charles (Ellen) Hasnedl of St. Hilaire, Minn., Mrs. Tony (Sylvia) Nastro of Sacramento, Calif., Mrs. Glen (Mathie) Johnson of Kent, Wash., and Mrs. Gerald (Elizabeth) Pilger of Manitowoc and nieces and nephews. A brother, Joseph, and two sisters, Sarah and Maud preceded her in death.
Friends may call in Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and in the church from noon Saturday until the time of service.
Memorials may be made to Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church.
