Dale J. Orlopp, age 57, of 1120 N. 15th St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Monday, August 28, 1995, at St. Ignace, Mich. Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, September 1, 1995, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Gerald Foley with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Dale was born June 19, 1938, in Manitowoc, son of the late Easton and Marie Kries Orlopp. He married the former Judith Lonzo June 9, 1962, at Holy Innocents Catholic Church. Mr. Orlopp was employed at Manitowoc Engineering for 36 years. He was a long time volunteer at Wisconsin Maritime Museum and was a member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Orlopp, Manitowoc; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Jeff Orlopp, Manitowoc, John and Wendy Orlopp, Francis Creek, Greg Orlopp, Manitowoc; a daughter, Denise Orlopp, Manitowoc; one brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Donald and Judith Orlopp, California; and a sister, Marilyn Fairchild, Manitowoc. He was also preceded in death by a son, Michael, and a sister, Nancy.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Thursday where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. by Deacon Paul Kieffer.
Dale was a devoted husband, father and a reliable hardworking person. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and coworkers.
