Evelyn E. O'Rourk, age 94, a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, and formerly of 1132 Windiate St., Manitowoc, died Friday, June 6, 2003, at Shady Lane.


The memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Gerald Foley at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc, Wednesday, June 11, 2003, at 10 a.m. Burial of her cremains will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.


Evelyn was born Sept. 5, 1908, in Manitowoc, to the late Frank and Pauline Bouda Eiermann. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1926. In her earlier years she was employed at the Manitowoc Hotel and then at Paragon Electric Company in the personnel department. Her first marriage was to George Hallock on June 28, 1941, in Manitowoc. Mr. Hallock preceded her in death in 1954. On April 13, 1959, she married J. Glen O'Rourk in Two Rivers. Mr. O'Rourk preceded her in death in 1969. Evelyn was a member of the Manitowoc Elks and Manitowoc Lion Auxiliary. She also was a past regent of the Daughters of Isabella.


Survivors include her stepson, Sheridan (Marlene) O'Rourk of Two Rivers; a step-granddaughter, Katherine Mary Mehling of Dayton, Ohio; three step-great grandchildren: Joshua, Courtney and Lauren Mehling; her brother Robert (Mary Ellen) Eiermann of Goshen, Ind.; two nephews, Frank and Jack Eiermann, both of Goshen, Ind.; three nieces; Karen Degerberg of Chicago, Mary T. Inbuit and Susan Bontrager, both of Goshen Ind. She was preceded in death by both of her husband .


Friends may call at Holy Innocents Catholic Church on Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10 a.m. Memorials would be appreciated to Roncalli High School.


The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 928 N. Water St., Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
