Mrs. Estle Orr, 72, of 1418 S. 12th St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Saturday evening at home.
Christian Science services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Jens Funeral home, Manitowoc. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Orr, nee Elizabeth Marquardt, was born July 6, 1892, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Herman and Anna Dummer Marquardt. She attended Manitowoc schools and was graduated from the old South Side High School in 1910. She took a summer course at Stevens Point Teachers College and taught at Long Lake, Liberty and Manitowoc Rapids.
Mrs. Orr later was a supervising teacher in Manitowoc County. During the summers she attended Milwaukee State Teachers College and the University of Chicago. Mrs. Orr was a member of First Church of Christ Scientist, Manitowoc. She was married to Estle Orr in 1925 at Manitowoc. He died in 1959.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Uriel (Edith) Garey, two sisters, Miss Martha Marquardt and Mrs. Gaylord Omer, of Manitowoc, three grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A son and a brother preceded her in death.
