David F. Osborn Jr., age 69, of 1856 Michigan Ave., Manitowoc, died Sunday, July 24, 2005 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.


Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State St., Manitowoc. The Rev. Dave Hoffman will officiate. Military graveside services will be accorded by Amvets Post 99. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.


David was born June 28, 1936, in Florence, Ky., son of the late David Sr. and Selma Black Osborn. He served with the U.S. Army stationed in Aberdeen, Md., until his honorable discharge in 1958. David married the former, Judy Horn on July 15, 1973, in Westchester, Ohio. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish-Waldo Site, Amvets Post 99, Manitowoc Carving Club, and the Manitowoc Civil War Round Table.


Survivors include his wife: Judy Osborn, Manitowoc; one son: David Michael Osborn and special friend Christina Seive, Bradington, Fla.; one daughter and son-in-law: Cindy and Bob Williams, Westchester, Ohio; two grandchildren: Leslie (Joe) Pettus, Middletown, Ohio; Kimberly Williams, Westchester, Ohio; two great-grandchildren: Joey and Emily Pettus, Middletown, Ohio; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Virginia (Donald) Lainhart, Hebron, Ky.; Ella Stambaugh, Independence, Ky.; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Jack (Nancy) Horn, Kissimmee, Fla.; Randy (Mary) Horn, Bennington, Vt.; two nephews: Neil (Krista) Stambaugh, Erlanger, Ky.; Scott Stambaugh, Independence, Ky.; one niece: Lana Stambaugh, Erlanger, Ky. Many friends also survive.


Relatives and friends may call at Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
