Mrs. Peter Osten, 62, of 623 N. Seventh St., Manitowoc, died Monday night at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, following a lingering illness.


Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, the Rev. Theophil Uetzmann officiating, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.


Mrs. Osten, the former Martha Bruechert, was born Feb. 20, 1892, in Kewaunee County, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Reinhold Bruechert. She was married at Manitowoc to Peter Osten Oct. 24, 1925. Mrs. Osten was a member of the Ladies Aid Society of the church.


Survivors include the husband, three brothers, Edward, William and Louis of Manitowoc and 17 nieces and nephews.


Friends may call at the Frazier Mortuary, Manitowoc, after 2 p.m. Wednesday until 10 a.m. Thursday when the casket will be moved to the church.
