MARY OURADA

(1882 • 1958)


Mrs. Joseph Ourada, 76, a resident of Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc the past two years, died Monday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after an illness of several months.


Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Urbwoc, and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Clement P. Kern will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.


Mrs. Ourada, nee Mary Heinzen, was born March 6, 1882, at St. John. Calumet County, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Weber Heinzen. At 11, she moved with her parents to Whitelaw. There she was married to Joseph Ourada July 3, 1901. The couple moved to Manitowoc Rapids a year later where Mr. Ourada operated a feed mill. He died in 1957. Mrs. Ourada resided there until two years ago. She was a member of the Rosary Society of Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc.


Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Edwin Hein and Mrs. Joseph Zuneskal?? of Manitowoc and Mrs. Reinhardt Neuser of Benton Harbor, Mich., a son Anthony of Manitowoc; three brothers, John of Whitelaw and Mathew and Joseph of Phlox, Wis.; a sister, Mrs. Albert Koeppel of Phlox; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.


Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday here the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
