WILLIAM H. OURADNIK

William H. Ouradnik, Sr., 74, formerly of 904 Dewey St., Manitowoc, died Saturday evening at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Leschke-Bergner Funeral Home and 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. John S. Landowski officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Ouradnik was born Jan. 7, 1893 at Kewaunee, son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Lustofka Ouradnik. He was graduated from Kewaunee High School and was a mail carrier at Manitowoc for 27 years, retiring in 1956. He married Violet Popelka Nov. 12, 1921 at Kewaunee. She preceded him in death June 6, 1956. He was a World War I veteran with the U.S. Marines from 1914 to 1919.
Survivors include five sons, William Jr. and Leonard, of Two Rivers, Melvin, of Manitowoc, Donald, of Port Byron, Ill., and Sp5 Thomas, of Fort Riley, Kan.; nine daughters, Mrs. Archie (Norma) Brouchoud, Mrs. Harry (Hazel) Arnemann, Mrs. Donald (Jane) Kracht and Mrs. Allen (Shirley) Barner, of Two Rivers; Mrs. Leonard (Lorraine) Reno, Mrs. Helen Peters, Mrs. Evelyn Alaers and Mrs. Harlas (Joan) Luckow, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Warren (Mary Ann) Landt, of Indianapolis, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Ted Lichterman, of Kewaunee; 53 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Two brothers, three sisters and three grandchildren preceded him in death.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited by the parish at 7 p.m.
