Mrs. William Ouradnik, 53, died unexpectedly Tuesday at the home on Rt. 2, Memorial Drive, Manitowoc.


Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Leschke-Bergner Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Theophil Uetzmann will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.


Mrs. Ouradnik, the former Violet Popelka, was born May 18, 1903, at Kewaunee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Popelka. She was married Nov. 12, 1921, and the next year the couple came to Manitowoc.


She is survived by the husband, nine daughters, Mrs. Archie Brouchoud of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, Mrs. Leonard Reno and Mrs. Hugo Ahlears or Manitowoc, Mrs. Eugene Peters of Rt. 3, Manitowoc, Mrs. Harry Arnamann, Mrs. Harlan Luckow and Mrs. Donald Kracht of Two Rivers, Mrs. Warren Landt of Milwaukee and Miss Shirley Ouradnik of Rt. 2, Manitowoc; five sons, William, Melvin and Leonard of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, Donald of Port Byron, Ill., and Sgt Thomas with the U.S. Army in Germany, step-father Charles Tesnow of Kewaunee, step-brother, Howard Tesnow of Racine; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl McCarthy of Chicago, Mrs. William Steets of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Peter Petrashka of Sarasota, Fla., and 28 grandchildren.


Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Thursday.
