Mrs. Irene K. Owens, 80, Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc, died Friday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Claude Leclaire will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Owens, the former Irene Fricke, was born Sept. 15, 1887, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Edward and Mary Espen Fricke. She was an itinerant hair-dresser and had served as matron of the Elm Terrace Home, Manitowoc. She was a member of the Mystical Rose Circle Daughters of Isabella, and the Sacred Heart Altar Society.
Surviving is a brother, Reinhard, of Manitowoc, and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home, Ninth Street entrance after 6 p.m. Sunday and the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
