A very pretty wedding was solemnized Sunday evening, July 12 at 6pm in the Methodist Church at Washington when Miss Florence Pfeiffer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Pfeiffer of St. Albans became the bride of Mr. Wallace Turner of Hopkinsville, Ky.

The bride was dressed in a white satin gown with a veil. She carried a bouquet of white rose buds and lillies of the valley. The groom wore a dark brown suit.

Mr. Turner spent the last two years at Pond, Mo. where he leaves many friends. They left Sunday evening for Tennessee, where they will make their home. The community is sorry to see this young couple leave but wishes them much happiness in their new home.
