James Keith Abney, age 77, of Marrowbone, KY passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at his home. He was born on July 10, 1935 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Jessie Calvin and Clarice Ballard Abney. He attended Waterview Church of Christ and was a longtime body mechanic for McCoy Chevrolet and Long's Auto Sales. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Kate Smith, and one brother Charlie Abney.
Survivors Include his wife, Anna Pearl Norris Abney of Marrowbone, KY; one daughter, Jimmie Dawn Abney of Marrowbone, KY; 2 grandchildren- James Daniel Holland and Jacob Wray; one niece- Debbie Traylor of Summer Shade, KY; two nephews- Roy Smith of Louisville, KY and Kenneth Lee Smith of Chicago, IL.

Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with Bro. Raymond Castillo officiating. Burial in the Marrowbone Cemetery.
