Death Occurred Suddenly Tuesday; Funeral Services Held Thursday.

Mrs. Margaret Hannah Power, wife of Woodson B. Power, died suddenly at her home in this city Tuesday afternoon, April 10, at the age of seventy years, ten months and twenty nine days.

Mrs. Power, who was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Goings, had spent most of her life in this county and was well known. She was married to Mr. Power three years ago, and had since made her home in this city.

Early in life, Mrs. Power became a member of the Methodist church, remaining a member of that faith during all the remainder of her years.

She is survived by two sons, one sister, Mrs. Susan Scott of Missouri, and a number of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held from the Christian church in this city Thursday afternoon, April 12 at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. L. R. Cronkhite and Rev. W. M. Groves, and burial was in the Atterberry cemetery.
