EAKIN, Eleanor Olive
1920-2007
A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007 in Bateman Carroll Funeral Home for Eleanor Olive Eakin of Beavercreek, who died Feb. 22 at age 86. Eleanor Olive Hawes was born Dec. 14, 1920, in Berthold, N.D., their family moved to Silverton in 1929. She attended Mt. Angel College and worked for Montgomery Ward. In 1943, she married James S. Eakin. They lived in Clackamas. James died in 1973. Survivors include her daughters, Phyllis and Sharon; sons, Neil and Michael; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Eleanor cherished her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
