Robert was the son of Hiram Kinerson Winton. Hiram was the brother of Stephen Mack Winton, my great great grandfather.

Robert married Obediance Long on December 27, 1863 in Polk County, Arkansas. After Obediance's death, Robert married Nancy E. McKnight.

Robert and Obediance had three children: John Kinerson, MaryBell and William Andrew.

Robert and Nancy had two children: Robert and Emer.
