Cullen Joe Mancuso was born in the Galleria area of Houston, Texas and passed away on October 4, 2005 at the age of 79. He graduated from Sam Houston High School. He also served in the United States Army during World War II. He was the retired owner of Mancuso Produce Co. He was a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans, a member Knights of Columbus Council #1834 of Bryan, Texas and a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

He is survived by two daughters, one son, six grandchildren; two great grandchildren, third to be born in December; five step grandchildren; 17 step great grandchildren along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Betty Jo Guy Mancuso; father, Chris Mancuso; mother, Rosie Mancuso and sister, Sadie Mancuso Zinnante.

Mass of Resurrection was celebrated on Monday, October 10, 2005 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, with Rev. Joseph Loc D. Phan, celebrant. Rite of Committal followed at Woodlawn Garden of Memories. Serving as pallbearers were Grady Green, Jr., Nick Green, Grady Green, Sr., Brandon Bettega, Joe Bettega and Ken Simmons. He was very fond of his children and grandchildren.
